Frequently Asked Questions

Is the piece solid metal or plated?

The piece is rhodium plated over lead free alloy (brass). The plating gives it a bright white, reflective surface.

How does the necklace length work?

The link chain measures 18 Inch + 2 Inch Extender. An 18 Inch chain sits at about the collarbone on most adults, and the extender is a short length of chain at the clasp that lets the same necklace be worn at more than one length.

How does the clasp close?

The lobster clasp closes with a sprung lever. It is the more secure of the two clasps in common use, though it asks for a little dexterity to fasten.

How to Care for Your Rhodium Plated Finish Initial Q Pendant

1. Clean the rhodium plated over lead free alloy (brass) piece with soap, water, and a soft cloth.
2. Avoid polishing compounds and dips, as they can thin the rhodium plated over lead free alloy (brass) finish.
